I’m covering two things on how to save on the cost of your trip in 2021, the important things you need to know for planning your Disney World vacation in 2021 and share a sample vacation quote. So the most common question that we get is how can you save on your Disney World vacation and I have a couple of options for you.
First, always check the current promotions and special offers. You can find them on the website linked here. You can find any agency-specific promotions on our website.
Another great way to save on your Disney vacation, especially if you would like to stay at one of the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts is to rent Disney Vacation Club points through our partners at David’s Vacation Club Rentals. The basics of how this works is that there are Disney Vacation Club owners that have accumulated points that they are unable to use. Instead of letting them go to waste, they have decided to rent them out to other guests and that’s where this website comes into play. So now, instead of booking your Deluxe Resort direct, you have the option of renting points at an average price of $19.00 USD per point. Click on the link here to see what that would potentially cost you.
One caveat to this would be that the booking process and policies are very different between booking direct and renting points. If you choose to rent points, you will be required to pay the cost of your entire stay upfront. In addition, the booking is non-refundable so you must be sure that you will be visiting during this time, or okay with losing the money. When booking direct, you place a $200 deposit down with the final amount being due 30 days prior to your arrival with a more flexible cancellation policy. So, there definitely is some risk, but the savings are very large.
If you would like to check out the cost of renting points for your family, follow the link below and use the cost calculator to calculate your trip, and of course, you can always ask one of us to do this on your behalf.

Another thing, I want to touch base on about your 2021 Disney world vacation is the important things that are happening in 2021. So obviously, 2020 was a tough year for all of us. Disney World is running at reduced capacity right now, there are currently no parades or fireworks, and the meet and greets with the characters are socially distanced. You also require a park reservation in order to get into the park for the day. Park Hopping is now available, with some conditions – you will be required to reserve one park for the day and when you finish your time at the one park, if there is an opening at another park, you have the ability to go into that park as well.
Now as restrictions start to lift, we’re starting to see an influx of travelers, especially in the fall season as we see more and more bookings coming into the agency. In addition, 2021 is Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration so a lot of people are wanting to visit during this time. I highly recommend that if you do want to travel to Walt Disney World in 2021, especially in the Fall season, to get that reservation on the books right now.
I want to show you a quick price comparison for a sample stay for a family of 5 from October 10, 2021 to October 17, 2021. While preparing this quote, I do notice that there was no availability for Value Resorts during this time, as I do typically price out a Value, a Moderate, and a Deluxe Resort. As Value was not available, I took this opportunity to price compare a Deluxe Resort, and as you will see, produced a HUGE amount of savings!

Doing some quick math, you can see that there is a savings of approximately $3,000.00 USD for the same stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. But remember, although it is a large savings, be sure you are comfortable with the policies.
I hope you found this information helpful. If you would like to talk about your future vacation plans, be sure to book a video consultation with me today. I hope we get to “meet”.
